Head Coach (High School)

Riel loves the sport of rugby and the impact it has on young lives. He coaches because he wants to teach kids and students to love the sport. He is dedicated to grow the sport in the USA so that the Eagles can become a major impact in world rugby. He founded the Falcons as the first youth club in Northern Colorado Springs in 2008, and have coaching experience at every level from 6-year olds through college teams. He is a level 200 certified coach.

Coach P J Trujillo

Rucks Coach & 7s Strategist

(High School)

Patrick (PJ) Trujillo has been coaching rugby since 1997 and a player since 1991. His vast coaching experience spans from youth to men's sides. He enjoys coaching and having the opportunity to share his knowledge of the game. His goal is to give back to the rugby community and to instill in those he coaches a great appreciation for this amazing sport. His hope is to not only help his players to be better on the field, but also to build skills to help them succeed in all facets of life. He has unique coaching style that allows his players to participate in their development at the game.

Coach Jamie Twigg 

Line-out Coach (High School)

Jamie Twigg played semi-pro rugby for Luton RFC in England for 22 years. He came to the United States in 2002 and coached Queen City RFC in Denver for 2 years. In 2008 he started to coach youth rugby in Colorado Springs. Then in 2017 he became the Forwards coach of the NCOS Falcons high school team. He's main objective is to teach young players in America to enjoy the game he loves so much, teaching them skills, integrity, loyalty, discipline, fitness and success through rugby.

Nicole Brashears

Athletic Trainer

Nicole founded Sideline Sports Medicine in Colorado, in 2018. She recognized a need in the community for medical care for various sporting events and athletes. Nicole earned her Master of Sciences in Sports Medicine from The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) and her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Chapman University in Orange, CA. Nicole has worked as an Athletic Trainer in the sport of rugby for five years. She has been the primary medical provider for high school and collegiate level teams, as well as working as one of the many athletic trainers for Rugby Colorado since 2016. Full time, Nicole works as the Head Athletic Trainer at Johnson and Wales University in Denver, CO.

Nicole’s goal is to be an advocate for her patients’ best interest while providing compassionate and quality healthcare. She specializes in injury evaluations, concussion management, prevention and rehabilitative services.
